When Ponting reached to the age of the 20, he was the maker of the Test (international match) debut  already. After this period he had to face some criticism of his career but the next ten years of his struggle proved his worth.
Ponting proved himself and landed as the Captain of the Australia’s one-day international side which by the up coming year led to the victory in the World Cup in South Africa but the story does not end here, I just get wonder struck to know that he got the chance to led Australia with another three cups during the period of the

He is a useful all rounder who, after having a brief, yet successful career with Tasmania got a call up to the national side, who were in pursuit of a young all rounder ahead of the 2003 World Cup. But like most of his career, Watson had to give the World Cup a miss owing to injury. Injury has plagued his entire career and he has lost out on many occasions for the lack of fitness. However, in his 43 ODIs he has scored a total of 507 runs at a moderate average of 31 and has taken 37 wickets. He has also played 3 Tests for Australia but has not been able to quite establish a name for himself yet.
